In short - not too much. As my health has to take priority, I have been doing a lot of resting and relaxing. Rather than pushing myself, as I do far too often, im. having to surrender to rest.

The nerve damage in my arm has causing me a lot of issues and this terrifies me as my main purpose that the moment is my art work.

Now in that respect - I'm doing loads!!!!

What’s happening at Altar of Elixir?

Things have shifted a little around here lately.

​

For a long time, Elixir Soul Medicine was primarily about Breathwork, Reiki, Forest Bathing, Sister Circles and creating spaces for women to reconnect with themselves.

 

Those practices are still very much part of who I am, but lately something else has been asking for my attention…

​

The art.

Over the past few months my mixed-media artwork has grown from something I created alongside everything else into a much bigger part of my creative life. I've found myself completely absorbed in cutting, layering, assembling, experimenting with colour, symbolism, botanical imagery and the wonderfully chaotic world of the sacred feminine.

And honestly? I'm loving it.

The Altar of Elixir has become a place for this work to live — a growing collection of original, handmade pieces exploring femininity, mythology, ancestry, nature, sexuality, spirituality and all the beautifully complicated things that make us human.

​

This year I've taken the artwork out into the world too, including my rather fabulous Powdered Pussy adventure, where I filled a stall with vulva-inspired artwork, prints, clothing, bags and other creations. It was a brilliant, chaotic and affirming celebration of female bodies, creativity and not taking ourselves quite so seriously.

​

I've also had the joy of seeing some of the pieces find their homes, including Our Lady of Wildflowers, which was a particularly lovely milestone for me.

​

And what about Breathwork and Reiki?

They're not gone.

​

I'm still working with a small number of regular clients and I still occasionally offer Breathwork and Reiki when the timing feels right. But I'm not currently pushing these aspects of my work in the way I have previously.

​

Right now, the art has taken precedence.

Perhaps that's simply where my creative energy needs to go at this point in my journey.

​
